The Jima Jima no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to recognize and create subtitles. It was eaten by an Archaeologist.
Etyomology[]
- Jima comes from Jimaku (字幕?), the Japanese term for subtitles.
Strengths and Weaknesses[]
The fruit allows its user to understand various languages just by adding subtitles to orally communicated. In this case, the present user wears "smartglasses" or wearable computer glasses. The fruits abilities may be enhanced if the user can hear the Voice of All Things.
However, the number of languages that can be understood and translated is limited by the mental capacity of its user.
