Kamatachi at some point in time ate a Devil Fruit referred to as a Mythical Zoan type; an immensely powerful type of Zoan Devil Fruit, said to be a rare type, even rarer than Logia fruits. His Devil Fruit enables him to transform into a Kamatchi. It is because of this ability and the fact his name is not known that he is identified as "Kamatchi". While this fruit's power is classified as a Zoan, due to the uniqueness of the Kamatachi the additional seed it grants may be considered similar to those of Paramecia (the somewhat "superhuman" power that affects the user's body: speed of light)

== Usage ==
Like other Zoan users, Kamatchi is able to take a hybrid human-beast form. However, Kamatachi's control over his transformations seems to be highly advance of any other Zoan user shown so far, as unlike most other Zoan users Kamatachi can transform selective parts of his body though being a weasel mink only change to his whole appearance is his claws become like sickles and his fur color.

The fruit's greatest attribute, however, is it's speed since like the Kamatachi in Japanese legends he can attack and the target receive a sharp wound from it, but there is no pain as if it was the wind itself that cut them..

Kamatachi is also susceptible to the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses like any user.

Minamikaze no kama (南風の鎌) literally meaning Sickle of the South Wind: A extremely fast flurry of dancing slashes
