The Blooming Pirates are a Pirate Crew that originated within North Blue by their Captain and Chef, Aloof D. Apostle, who defected from his family on his 19th birthday, hoping to escape his father's influence and make his own family out of it. Apostle was able to escape Baltio with the help of some of his siblings and eventually wound up on the island of Swanni where he formed the crew after gaining Ashoka as his first crew member. They were provided a ship by the King of Swanni, which lasted them up until they met their Shipwright Shin, who provided a new ship for them so they could continue sailing the Grand Line. The Blooming Pirates are the main protagonists of Green Ocean, where due to their actions, or of others' actions, they find themselves in dangerous situations, gaining the attention of the World Government, the Imperial Government, the Yonko and many others. During the Mariejois Arc, all the crew members noticed how incapable they were of continuing on with their journey at their current power level. Shukketsu Raudo, a Yonko, founder and leader of Mugen, offered his services to train the Blooming Pirates, to which they accepted. During the timeskip, they stayed within Mugen's territory training until they were prepared to face the New World.
Due to the events of the Baltio Arc, the Blooming Pirates disbanded under Apostle's order for his own personal reasons. After the events of the arc, the crew reformed and continued to sail on their journey.
Because of their actions throughout their journey, the Blooming Pirates have gained infamy throughout the Grand Line, where the World Government continues to give them higher bounties due to their actions. Because of this infamy, there have been situations where people have attempted to capture them for their bounties, test their skill, or for other reasons. Some islands have also been hostile towards them, fearing that they ill destroy their peaceful land. There are some islands, however, that they have ended up coming out on good terms with, becoming allies with them. The Blooming Pirates currently consist of eight members, whose combined bounties equal to 000,000,000.
